Consent theory

Consent Theory is a way to decide if one person can do something to another person and if it is okay that they do it. Before someone does something to someone else, they must get their permission (or 'consent') first. If the other person says yes, then that means it is OK for the first person to do what they want. If the other person says no, then the first person is not allowed to do whatever it is they wanted to do. So overall, Consent Theory means that no one should do something to someone else without their permission first.
