Consumer Bill of Rights

Okay kiddo, so a consumer bill of rights is like a set of rules that helps protect you when you're buying things.

There are four main things that it's really important to know:

1. You have the right to be safe when you buy things - which means that companies can't sell you things that are really dangerous or don't work properly.

2. You have the right to be informed about what you're buying - which means that companies have to tell you the truth about what's in their products and how much they cost.

3. You have the right to choose what you want to buy - which means that companies can't force you to buy things you don't need or want.

4. You have the right to be heard if you have a problem - which means that if something goes wrong with what you've bought, you can complain and get help fixing it.

So basically, a consumer bill of rights is like a set of very important rules that help make sure your shopping experiences are safe, fair, and honest.
