Context-aware pervasive systems

Context-aware pervasive systems are computers that use sensors to figure out what's happening around them and respond in certain ways. They can detect things like the time of day, location, temperature and activity. For example, when you're at a store and your phone knows you're there, it can offer you deals related to the store you're at or what you usually like to buy. Your phone can also make the screen brighter or dimmer depending on how the light is outside. That's a context-aware pervasive system in action!
