ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Locative media

Locative media is a type of technology that uses your location to provide you with information, usually about the area that you are in. It can be used to give you directions, suggestions of things to do, or even information about nearby businesses. For example, if you're walking by a restaurant and you have locative media app, it could tell you about the restaurant, including what type of food they serve and what their hours are.
