Urban informatics

Urban informatics is the study of how people use and interact with technology in cities. This includes how people use computers, tablets, phones, and other devices in urban areas, how people navigate through public spaces and transportation, and how people share and access information. Urban informatics also looks at how all of these things are affected by city infrastructure and policies. Basically, it looks at how technology can help make cities smarter, stronger, and safer.
