ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Conventional agriculture

Conventional agriculture is a way of growing food that has been around for a long time. It is the most common way people grow food today. To grow food using conventional agriculture, farmers use things like machines to plow and plant the land, and use chemical pesticides and fertilizers to help the plants grow. These chemicals can help keep away bugs and help plants grow bigger and faster, but sometimes they can cause problems like harming the environment or making food not as healthy.
