Dryland farming

Dryland farming is a type of farming where crops are grown without irrigation. This means that the farmers rely on rainfall and the nutrients in the soil to help the crops grow. Dryland farming is usually done in places that don't get much rain, like deserts. The farmers have to be careful about when and how much they plant because if there isn't enough moisture in the soil, the crops won't grow.
