Dust Bowl

The dust bowl happened in the 1930s in the United States. It was a dry period, when winds blew hard and dry dust around the country. It caused the land to be dry and plants to die. People's farms and homes were filled with dust and became damaged. Many people had to leave their homes and moved to places where there was more water and food.
