Conversion of units

Conversion of units means turning a number into a different unit. For example, you may want to turn your height from inches to feet. So, if you were 58 inches tall, that would be 4.83 feet. To convert from one unit to another, you need to know the different between the two, and then you can use that number to multiply or divide. For example, to find out your height in feet, you would divide 58 (the number of inches) by 12 (there are 12 inches in a foot). That gives you 4.83, which is your height in feet.
