ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Conversion path

Conversion path is like a path you follow to get to a certain place. When it comes to the internet, it's how people get from one page to another before they make a purchase, sign up for something, or download something. It’s a way for companies to understand what people are doing when they come to their website. For example, if you go to a website, you might click on a few different pages before you decide to buy something or sign up for an email list. That sequence of pages you clicked on is called the conversion path. Companies can use the data from the conversion path to figure out which pages work best, or even add more steps to the path to try and get people to buy more.
