Coolie Trade

Coolie trade was a practice in which people from some parts of the world were sent, usually against their will, to travel far away to different places and do jobs that were seen as hard. It was like a type of slavery because people did not get to choose where they went or the work that they did. They were forced to work for their bosses and their bosses would make all the decisions for them. It was a very bad thing that happened in the past but luckily it has now been stopped.
