Coral reef

Have you ever been to the beach and seen those beautiful colors underwater? That's called a coral reef! Imagine a big house made of lots of tiny rocks called polyps. These houses grow on top of each other and form beautiful shapes and patterns under the water. It's like building a big castle out of little Lego pieces. Coral reefs are like homes for lots of sea creatures like fish, crabs, and even sharks! The coral reefs are great protectors for the little sea creatures, sort of like how your house is a safe and comfortable place for you to live. They also provide a home for plants that can grow in saltwater, and they help protect our beaches from waves and storms. Coral reefs are important for the health of our oceans, and we should do our best to protect and care for them.
