Corone (crow)
So kiddo, you might have heard about corone which sounds like the word "crow". Have you ever seen a crow before? They are those big black birds that sometimes make a really loud "caw-caw" noise.
Corone (short for coronavirus) is actually a very tiny germ that you can't see with your eyes. It can make people and animals sick with a sickness called COVID-19. Just like how crows sometimes make a lot of noise, corone can cause people to cough and sneeze because it gets inside their body and makes it hard for them to breathe.
To keep ourselves and others safe from corone, we wear masks and wash our hands a lot. Scientists and doctors are also working really hard to find ways to stop corone from making people sick, so we can all stay healthy and happy!
