ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Corridor coach

Okay, imagine you're going on a big trip with lots of other people. But instead of sitting in separate seats on a big bus, you're all sitting in a long train car that has lots of seats lined up next to each other. That's kinda like a corridor coach!

The reason it's called a "corridor coach" is because there's a long hallway, or corridor, that runs down the middle of the car. This is where people can walk up and down to get to their seats or go to the bathroom.

Corridor coaches are often used for longer trips, like when you're traveling from one city to another. They can hold a lot of people, which makes them more efficient than other types of transportation (like cars or buses) because you can fit more people in one train car than in a bunch of separate vehicles. And because everyone is sitting close together, it's easier for the train staff to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable throughout the journey.

So that's a corridor coach! It's basically a long train car with a hallway down the middle that lots of people can sit in together while they travel to their destination.
