Counterintelligence state

A counterintelligence state is a country which tries to find out information about other countries to protect their own country. They use different methods like spies, computers, and intelligence services to collect secret information about foreign countries. They use this information to prevent the other countries from attacking or harming their own country. Counterintelligence states also try to stop other countries from gaining information about their own country.
