ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Cradle to Cradle Design

Cradle to cradle design is when we make things in a way where we can use them again and again. It's like using a toy that you can take apart and then use the pieces to make something new.

Let's say we make a toy car out of plastic. When we don't want to play with it anymore, we can't just throw it away because it will be bad for the environment. But if we make it using cradle to cradle design, we can take the car and break it down into its pieces. The plastic can then be melted down and used to make something new - like a new toy or even a water bottle!

This is good for the environment because we are not wasting things and we are not using up all the resources in the world. It's like having a big toy box that never gets empty!

So, instead of throwing things away, we can make things that can be used again and again, just like your favorite toy that you can play with over and over.
