Creoles of color

Creoles of Color are people who are descended from African, Native American, and European people. They are different from other African Americans because they were never enslaved in the United States and were usually free or had more freedom to move around. They were usually educated and were often wealthy because of the money their families had. They also tended to have lighter skin. They were an important part of the African American culture and history, but are often forgotten about.
