Crown of thorns

The crown of thorns is a painful thing that Jesus had to wear on his head. It is made up of sharp, thorny branches that were twisted together to form a circle that fit around his head.

The crown of thorns was put on Jesus' head right before he was crucified. It was meant to mock him and make him suffer more. It was very painful because the thorns dug into his skin and made him bleed.

Even though it was meant to hurt Jesus, the crown of thorns has become an important symbol for some people. It reminds them of the sacrifice Jesus made for them and how much he loved them. Some people even wear jewelry or have tattoos of the crown of thorns to show their faith.
