ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Cultural feminism

Cultural feminism is when people think that women and men are different from each other in important ways, and that women should have their own special culture to celebrate those differences.

When someone is a cultural feminist, they might believe that women are naturally better at things like nurturing and caring for others, and that men are naturally better at things like being aggressive and competitive. They might also believe that women should focus on building communities and relationships, rather than just on individual success like men.

Cultural feminists might also argue that women have historically been left out of important parts of society, like politics and the arts, and that this has caused women to be undervalued and unappreciated. They might advocate for more representation of women in these areas, as well as for more recognition of the specific contributions that women have made throughout history.

Overall, cultural feminism is a way of thinking that celebrates the differences between men and women, and sees the unique strengths of women as something to be celebrated and honored.
