ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Customer privacy

Customer privacy is when companies promise to keep your information safe and private. This means that no one else can access it unless you give them permission. Companies have to keep your information like your name, address and email address secret, so that other people can't use it for bad things like getting into your bank account or taking money from it. Companies also have to make sure that your information is secure from hackers and viruses. They do this by using encryption and secure databases.
