Cuts of lamb

Lamb is a type of meat that comes from a cute little animal called a lamb. When we cut the lamb meat into smaller pieces, we call them "cuts" because they are smaller pieces that come from a larger piece of meat.

One of the most common cuts of lamb is called the "leg." This comes from the back legs of the lamb and is a big, juicy piece of meat that can be cooked in many different ways, like roasted or grilled. It's kind of like the lamb's thigh!

Another popular cut of lamb is the "chop." This is a smaller, individual piece of meat that comes from the lamb's ribs or loin. It looks kind of like a little steak! Lamb chops can be cooked on a grill or in a pan and are a really yummy and tender part of the lamb.

There are also other cuts of lamb like "shoulder" and "shank." These are also taken from different parts of the lamb and have their own unique flavors and textures.

So, when we talk about cuts of lamb, we are talking about the different ways that we can cut the lamb meat into smaller pieces to cook it in different ways. Yum!
