DC injection braking

DC injection braking is like putting on the brakes when you're riding your bike. When you want to stop your bike, you push backward on the pedals to slow down and eventually stop.

In a similar way, DC injection braking works by injecting a small amount of direct current into the motor that's powering a machine. This current creates a magnetic field that opposes the motor's rotation, slowing it down and eventually bringing it to a stop.

It's often used in machines like elevators and cranes, where stopping quickly and safely is really important. Just like how you want to stop your bike before you hit something, these machines need to stop quickly to prevent accidents.

So, DC injection braking is a way to safely and effectively slow down and stop machines by creating a magnetic field that opposes the motor's rotation.
