DNSCurve

DNSCurve is like a secret code that helps keep our internet safe when we use the internet to go to websites. When you type a website address into your computer, like www.google.com, your computer needs to know the address of that website in order to show you the page. DNS (Domain Name System) helps your computer find the address of the website you want to visit.

However, sometimes, bad guys on the internet can see what website you're trying to visit using the DNS. DNSCurve helps keep the address of the website secret, so that bad guys can't see it. It does this by using a special kind of code that only the website you're trying to visit and your computer can read.

Think of it like this: you have a secret code that only you and your best friend know. You want to send a message to your friend that says "meet me at the park". But you don't want anyone else to know that you're going to the park. So you use your secret code to write "ZMEE XWTRVHYP". Your friend can decode the message using the secret code, but anyone who sees the message won't be able to understand it because it's in code.

That's what DNSCurve does - it sends messages between your computer and the website you're visiting in a secret code, so that bad guys can't see what the message says. This helps keep our internet safe and secure!
