ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Dacha

Dacha is a house located outside of the city that many people in Russia and other ex-Soviet countries own and visit in the summertime. It's like a summer house that you can use for family gatherings, relaxation and growing vegetables. People like to go to their dacha and spend time with family and friends, go fishing, pick mushrooms and berries, and enjoy the fresh air. You might also see people fixing up or decorating their dachas, or maybe just sitting together, talking and drinking tea. Dacha houses are a big part of Russian culture and many people have wonderful memories of visiting or living in their dacha.
