Dark moon

Hello little one, have you ever heard of the dark moon? It's like a really special phase of the moon, and it's not seen in the sky at all!

So, you know how the moon changes shape every night? Sometimes it's a big circle, sometimes it's just a tiny crescent. But during the dark moon phase, the moon is completely black, like a dark hole in the sky.

But don't worry, the moon isn't actually disappearing or anything. It's just that during this time, the moon is perfectly aligned with the sun and Earth, so we can't see any sunlight reflecting off of it.

This phase usually lasts for about three days, and it happens once a month. It's also called the new moon, because it marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle.

During the dark moon, some people believe that it's a good time to set new goals or intentions, because it's a time of new beginnings. Others might use it as a time for rest or reflection.

So while the dark moon might seem a bit spooky, it's actually a pretty cool and important part of the moon's cycle.
