Data acquisition

Data Acquisition is when you collect information. This could be by looking at something, writing something down, taking pictures, or looking at what's already been written or made. Basically, it's like collecting information from somewhere and then putting it all together. For example, if you were a scientist, you might go to a forest and look at the trees and leaves and take measurements. Then, you would have all the data that you collected and could write a report with it.
