Sensor

A sensor is a special kind of thing that can detect changes in the environment around it. It can measure things like temperature, sound, light, motion, and pressure. For example, a temperature sensor can measure how hot or cold something is. A motion sensor can detect when something is moving. And a light sensor can detect how bright the light is around it. Sensors help us understand the world around us and they're used in lots of different things like phones, cameras, and cars.
