Databases

A database is like a big library. It is a big collection of information that is stored in a special way so that it can be easily found and looked at. Think of it like a store that sells books – all the books are organized in an orderly way so when someone goes in they can quickly find the book they want.

Databases have a bunch of special tools that help us find the information we want quickly and accurately. With this, we can even sort the information in different ways to find the specific data we are looking for.
