Day-age Creationism is an idea that explains how the Bible and science can work together. It says that when the Bible talks about how God created the world in 6 days (like in the book of Genesis), it is not talking about 6 literal days like 24 hour days. Instead, it is talking about 6 very long periods of time that each included many changes to the world. The Bible gives examples of these changes, like the plants and stars being created, and says God rested on the 7th day. This idea tries to explain how the Bible can be true and scientific evidence of an old earth can be true too.
