Theistic evolution

Theistic evolution is a way of looking at evolution (the process by which living things change over time) that includes the belief that God was involved in the process. Instead of evolution happening by itself, some people believe that God made changes over time to make different species of animals, plants, and other living things. They think that God used evolution as a way to show his power and make the universe the way it is today.
