Okay kiddo, imagine if you were really upset about something, so upset that you just wanted to scream and yell and maybe even throw things. Well, that's kind of what the Days of Rage were all about.
You see, back in the late 1960s, a lot of young people in America were really angry about a lot of things. They were angry about the Vietnam War, they were angry about racism and inequality, and they were angry about the government not listening to their voices.
So, some of these angry young people decided to organize a bunch of big protests all across the country. They called it the Days of Rage, and the plan was to show the world just how angry they were and how determined they were to make a change.
During the Days of Rage, these young people took to the streets and started smashing windows and setting things on fire. They wanted to make a lot of noise and get a lot of attention, and they definitely succeeded in doing that.
Now, here's the thing. While it's totally okay to be upset and want to make change happen, it's not okay to hurt people or break things. That's not the right way to go about making change. So while some people might have thought the Days of Rage were really cool, a lot of other people thought they were really scary and dangerous.
And in the end, the Days of Rage didn't really accomplish much. Sure, they got a lot of attention, but they didn't really change anything. So while it's important to stand up for what you believe in, it's also important to do it in a peaceful and respectful way.
