Deacon

A deacon is a helper at church who helps the pastor or priest. They help with things like passing out the bread and wine (called communion), collecting money, and helping people who are sick or need help. Think of a deacon as a really helpful friend of the pastor who makes sure everything runs smoothly and helps people in need.
