Decile

A decile is a way to break numbers into 10 equal parts. Just like mountains are separated into different heights (called altitude), deciles break numbers into different ranges. For example, if we were to break up a list of numbers into deciles, the first decile would contain the smallest 10% of all the numbers, the second decile would contain the next smallest 10%, and so on, until the last decile which contains the largest 10% of the numbers. This is a helpful way to group numbers together.
