Decomposition diagram

A decomposition diagram is a fancy way of drawing pictures that help us understand how complicated things work. It's like cutting up a big sandwich into smaller pieces so that you can see what's inside and how it was all put together.

For example, imagine you have a toy car. You could draw a decomposition diagram to show all the different parts that make up the car. First, you would draw a big circle to represent the whole car. Then, you would draw smaller circles inside the big circle to represent the different parts, like the wheels, the engine, and the steering wheel.

You could even break those parts down further. For example, the engine could be broken down into even smaller parts like the carburetor and the spark plugs. By doing this, you can see all the different pieces that go into making the toy car work.

Decomposition diagrams are useful because they help us understand how complex things are put together. It's like taking apart a puzzle and then putting it back together again. By studying the pieces, we can figure out how they fit together to make the whole thing work.
