Decontamination foam is like special soap bubbles that help get rid of bad germs and other nasty stuff. Just like you take a bath or wash your hands to clean them, decontamination foam can clean up things that are too big for you to wash, like trucks or buildings that might have dangerous chemicals or germs on them.
The foam is made in a big machine that mixes together special soap chemicals and water, and pumps it out through a hose. When it hits a surface, it turns into a foam that sticks to everything and covers it with bubbles. Those bubbles can then dissolve bad things and wash them away.
Sometimes, the foam is even colored so that people can see where it has been sprayed and know for sure that the bad things have been cleaned off. This foam is often used by firefighters, police, or people who work with hazardous chemicals to clean up any dangerous contaminants that might have gotten on them or their equipment.
