Deep sea mining

Deep sea mining is when people go underwater to find metals and minerals. To find the metals and minerals, people scoop up the sand on the ocean floor and use special machines to sort through it and take out the valuable things. They then bring these valuable things back up to the surface where they can be used to make things like phones and jewelry.
