Okay kiddo, so imagine you have a circle. Now draw two lines from opposite sides of the circle and have them meet in the middle to make a point. That point is the delta-ring.
Now if you imagine those two lines continuing on past the point, they would form a triangle shape (the Greek letter delta looks like a triangle). That's why it's called a delta-ring.
Sometimes this word is used in science to describe a part of a molecule that looks like a triangle shape. Scientists like to use fancy words to describe things, but you don't have to worry about that yet!
