Democratic socialism

Democratic socialism is a kind of government where the people who live in a country get to choose their leaders and also get to decide what laws their country will have. It's like a democracy, but with a different kind of economy. In a democratic socialist system, the government makes sure that everyone has access to things like education, healthcare, and other basic needs. The government also takes care of taking care of the environment, like making sure that factories are putting less pollution into the air. And the government provides jobs for people in the country, so people can make enough money to live.
