Demographic engineering

Demographic engineering is a term that is used to describe ways that governments can control the size and characteristics of their population. It might involve changing population trends by encouraging or discouraging people from moving to certain parts of a country, or by controlling birth rates. For example, a country might offer incentives for people to have more children or put limits on how many children people can have. It can also include encouraging different types of people to move to a certain country, or preventing people from a certain group from moving there.
