Demographics of Canada

Demographics of Canada means figuring out who lives in Canada and what they look like. Canada is a very diverse country, meaning that it has people from many different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. That's because many people from around the world decide to move and settle in Canada. For example, a lot of people from Asia, the Middle East, and Europe live in Canada.

When looking at the demographics of Canada, we also need to look at things like age, gender, and religion. For example, about 22.3 million people in Canada are under the age of 45, and about 8.3 million people are over the age of 65. About 49.9% of Canadians are women, while 50.1% are men. Lastly, the most popular religion in Canada is Christianity, followed by other religions such as Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, and Judaism.
