ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Design-based learning

Design-based learning is a way to learn that uses design projects to help people understand and explore topics. It's like creating a project that teaches people a lot of information. The idea is to use their creative skills and problem-solving strategies to tackle complicated problems. For example, a design-based project might involve creating a model structure out of popsicle sticks to show how a building is put together, or creating a circuit with batteries and lightbulbs to show how electricity works. Design-based learning helps children learn while having fun.
