Dial indicator

A dial indicator is like a measuring tool that helps us see how much something moves. Let's say we want to measure how much a car tire moves up and down. We can attach the dial indicator to a stand and put the tire on top. When we push down on the tire, the dial indicator shows us how much the tire moves. The dial indicator has a little hand that moves around a circle with numbers on it. The hand moves as we push down on the tire, and we can read the number where the hand stops.
