Dialectical behavior therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a type of therapy that teaches you how to deal with difficult emotions and unhealthy behaviors in a healthy way. It helps you learn how to accept yourself and others, even when it is hard to like or agree with the things you are feeling or thinking. During DBT, you will talk about your problems, emotions, and behaviors. Your therapist will help you create new skills to help you manage difficult times better. For example, you might learn how to be kind to yourself when things don't go as planned, or how to problem-solve when you have a disagreement with a friend. DBT can help you build better relationships and help you feel more in control of your emotions and actions.
