Dicotyledon

Dicotyledon is a big word that we use to talk about plants. Plants are the things that grow from the ground and have leaves, flowers and sometimes fruit.

So, dicotyledon is a special type of plant that has two seed leaves that come out from the seed when they start to grow. These seed leaves are like little energy pockets that help the plant grow big and strong.

When a dicotyledon plant grows more, it makes more leaves with veins that you can see when you look at them closely. It also grows flowers that can be all different colors like red, yellow or purple. Some plants also grow fruit like apples, oranges or strawberries.

So, just like how we have different types of animals, plants also have different types of plants, and dicotyledon is one of them.
