Die Wannsee Conference was not a movie, it was an actual meeting that took place in Nazi Germany during World War II. At this meeting, high-ranking officials of the Nazi party gathered together to plan out how they were going to execute their plan of genocide against Jewish people.
The purpose of this meeting was to basically discuss the logistics of how they were going to exterminate millions of people. They talked about where they were going to take them, how they were going to transport them, and how they would go about killing them.
It’s important to note that this meeting was not just about Jews but about anyone who the Nazi party considered to be “undesirable” or a “threat” to their regime. This included people with disabilities, homosexuals, and people from certain ethnic groups.
The meeting took place in a suburb of Berlin called Wannsee on January 20, 1942. The decisions made at this meeting set the course for the Holocaust, which resulted in the deaths of over six million Jewish people.
There has been a 2001 German film titled ‘Conspiracy’ which was a dramatization of the meeting, starring Kenneth Branagh as Reinhard Heydrich, one of the main figures at the conference. However, there is no evidence of a 2022 film by the same name, which is believed to be a hoax or a rumor.
