ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Dieselisation

Dieselisation is when machines, like cars or trucks, move from using gasoline (petrol) to using diesel fuel.

Think of gasoline as a type of juice that gives energy to machines, and diesel as another type of juice that is stronger and can give more energy.

When machines are dieselised, they are changed to use that stronger juice, which can make them more efficient and powerful. Diesel fuel is also less expensive than gasoline, which can save money for people who use these machines.

But dieselisation has some downsides too. When diesel fuel is burned, it can create more pollution than gasoline. And some people think that diesel engines are noisier or less pleasant to use than gasoline engines.

Overall, dieselisation is a process of changing machines to use a different, more powerful juice (diesel fuel), which has its benefits and drawbacks.
