ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Differential privacy

Differential privacy is a way of keeping data secure while still allowing us to use it. It helps us to make sure that private information isn't seen or shared by anyone except people who are supposed to have access to it. It works by adding noise to the data so that it can be used without revealing any personal details. That way, no one can look at the data and figure out who it belongs to.
