ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Digital Physics

Digital physics is the idea that everything in the universe is made up of tiny pieces called bits or pixels, just like the tiny bits on a computer screen. Digital physics says that the same laws of physics apply on a tiny scale as on a big scale, so everything in the universe is made up of these tiny bits. This means that everything - from a person to a mountain - is made out of the same basic materials, just arranged differently. Imagine if Legos were the size of atoms - each one would be the same, but depending on how the pieces were put together, you could build a person, or a mountain, or a car. Digital physics is like that, only on a much smaller scale.
