Digital Citizenship is about using technology and being online in a positive and responsible way. It’s about understanding that with online communication and using the Internet come certain rights and responsibilities, like respecting other people’s privacy and only using technology for positive things. It’s also about understanding how to keep yourself safe when you’re online, like not giving out too much personal information and not meeting up with people you’ve only met online. Basically, Digital Citizenship is about being a good person online.
