ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Digital immortality

Digital immortality is the idea that people can live on after they die, in the form of a computer or digital version of themselves. This would mean that all the accumulated knowledge, experiences, and memories of a person could be stored and live on, even after the death of their physical body. This digital version of a person could then be used to interact with others like a regular person would, as if they were still alive.
